Night Shots With Only Moonlight

While I was out camping and the night fell upon. At some point, the moon got higher and I noticed that it was shining really brightly. So brightly that I don't even need a flashlight to move around because I can see everything. almost like a dim sunshine. Really, moonlight actually is sunlight, because it's a reflected sunlight.

I wanted to capture it so I set up my tripod and started taking some long exposures. Here you can clearly see the lake scape. All the light is moonlight. This photo is 30 seconds long with 3000 ISO

Here is a strange one. The red light you see everywhere is a bonfire we had in our camp. Taken directly towards the moonshine.

This is also taken directly towards the moonshine. It almost looks like daytime and sunshine, but you can see that something is wrong; it's still dark everywhere else. Interesting right?

Now this next one is really interesting. 30 seconds of exposure was not enough, so I started the photo to capture the shot until I ended it. I set the camera to take the photo, but I quickly forgot about it. I got reminded that my camera still takes the shot when I saw the small light flashing on my camera.

At this point, my camera had taken this shot for about 4 minutes already, and I switched it off. The shot was so bright like it was fully daytime. Since it's a RAW photo, I was able to dim it down a lot. Here is the result.

It looks like a weird sunset in the evening or something, but if you look closely at the sky. You can see long star trails that were recorded with this 4-minute-long photo.

It was fun experimenting with this moonlight and getting some interesting results recorded.
