LOVE Vs LUST.

People often confuse love and lust. They both produce some kind of feelings in people that is so pleasurable to the point where it blocks reasoning sometimes.

Jesus really loved the world that He gave His life without thinking much about it. But lust is quite different in several ways.

Here are some of the differences between love and lust.

• Love is reasonable, but lust is unreasonable

• Love gives but lust takes

• Love wants to get only what is it's due, but lust wants what it cannot have, or is not supposed to have.

• Love is generous, but lust is greedy.

• Love is selfless, but lust is selfish.

• Love purifies but lust defiles.

• Love has future benefits, lust has no future whatsoever.

• Lastly, Lust will get you into trouble, but here in this life and even eternally; but love will present you blameless before God.

According to James 1:14 Kjv; lust will draw you away from God and His presence; making you vulnerable to temptation.
