Today, on this Wednesday stroll, I’m sharing photos from my most recent trip to Caracas, taken before the disastrous events of June 24. I was strolling through some beautiful spots in the capital and was able to capture the photos I’m sharing with you.

The first images I’m sharing with you are of the natural landscapes I was able to capture from the highway. I loved them because of their deep blue sky, which contrasts with the dark color of the mountains, and the sharply defined clouds that reflect the bright rays of the sun and take on curious shapes that look like animals frolicking in the vastness of the sky.

Whenever I travel, I try to enjoy the scenery and the cloud formations and mountains that adorn the entire route. That’s how we arrived in the capital, Caracas, with its modern, busy thoroughfares and towering buildings surrounded by green mountains that lend the urban landscape a touch of the natural beauty of divine creation.

Caracas is the country’s most modern city, where life moves at a faster pace and which boasts countless tourist attractions to visit, enjoy, and remember.

Iconic landmarks such as the large sphere-shaped sculpture found on the Francisco Fajardo Highway, now known as the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro Highway. It is a large sculpture called “The Sphere of Caracas,” created by the master of kinetic art Jesús Soto. It consists of a large sphere formed by a set of orange aluminum rods hanging from a base and arranged in such a way that, from any angle, it forms a perfect and vibrantly colored sphere.

The entire city is full of delightful places to enjoy, even if it’s just on a short walk. Each site tells a different story and helps to beautify and enhance the tourist appeal of Venezuela’s capital.

Paseando por la capital

Saludos estimados amantes de los paseos de los miércoles, les deseo lo mejor en este día, que venga cargado de salud y bendiciones.

Hoy en esta caminata de miércoles les comparto imágenes de mi mas reciente viaje a Caracas, antes de los acontecimientos desastrosos del 24 de junio. Estuve paseando por algunos bonitos lugares de la capital y pude captar las imágenes que les traigo.

Las primeras imágenes que les presento corresponden a los paisajes naturales que pude captar desde la carretera y me gustaron por su cielo tan azul, contrastando con el oscuro color de las montañas y las nubes tan bien definidas, que reflejan los brillantes rayos solares y con curiosas formas que parecen animales retozando en la inmensidad del cielo.

Siempre que viajo trato de disfrutar del paisaje y de las formaciones de nubes y montañas que van adornando todo el camino. Así llegamos a la capital caracas con sus modernas y transitadas arterias viales, elevados edificios rodeados por las verdes montañas que dan al paisaje urbanizado el toque de naturalidad y belleza de la creación divina.

Caracas es la ciudad más moderna del país, donde la vida se lleva más aprisa y que posee innumerables sitios turísticos para visitar, disfrutar y recordar.

Lugares icónicos como la gran escultura en forma de esfera que encontramos en la autopista Francisco Fajardo, hoy autopista gran cacique Guaicaipuro. Es una gran escultura llamada "la esfera de Caracas" elaborada por el maestro de arte cinético Jesús Soto, que consiste en una gran esfera formada por un conjunto de varillas de aluminio color naranja que cuelgan de una base y colocadas de tal forma que desde cualquier ángulo forma una esfera perfecta y de gran colorido.

Toda la ciudad está llena de lugares muy agradables para disfrutar, aunque sea en un corto paseo. Cada sitio cuenta una historia diferente y contribuyen a embellecer y aumentar la riqueza turística que tiene la capital de Venezuela.
