In shadows dark, I hide my face
Afraid to stand, to face the place
Where fears reside, and echoes roar
Weakening my heart, and making me poor

My heart beats fast, my body shakes
Sensitive ears, to sounds that make
Me tremble with fear, and run to hide
In profound shadows, where darkness resides

I've tried to brave, to stand tall and strong
But surroundings whisper, "You can't be long"
The echoes close in, the shadows grow
Leaving me alone, to face the truth I know

One last chance, I'd wish to be bold
But fear's dark grip, my heart doth hold
I'll face the shadows, though trembling with fear
And find the strength, to wipe away my tears

I really wished to be free once more
From this echoes that lays in the heart
But had no chance to do as i wished to
