2024 Double Gold Ducats

Hi Stackers,

On May 1st markets are closed here (except for crypto that is tumbling) whihc gives me time to check the latest email received of the Royal Dutch Mint.

In May you can order the 2024 Ducats and they will be minted and distributed in September. The last year they minted some 900 double ducats exactly the amount ordered. That is on a population of 17 million Dutchmen...

Last time I ordered these in 2018 they were 379 EUR and now a staggering 750 EUR . Let me run the numbers against spot!

379 EUR for 0,2202 Ounce versus 1112 spot = 54% premium

750 EUR for 0,2202 Ounce versus 2143 spot = 58% premium

I do have 16 double ducats already and some single ducats as well and I think that is enough. The high price however might lower the mintage and that could be great for the price in 25 years when I am ...... 86!
