As a content creator, I try my best to monetize everything I put online. That's why I love Steemit.com so much! When I found Steemit in 2017, it was a "holy shit" moment for me. I remember trying to think of all the cool things I could write about, I am not a writer by the way. I'm terrible at it actually, imo, yet still try.

So, this year I found something I think is very cool to talk about and that is Coil.com and the Inter Ledger Protocol. What an amazing piece of technology. Coil uses the ILP and XRP to monetize your website, blog or forum. To sign up for an account is free. To monetize your content you will have to pay $5.00 USD a month to subscribe. At the moment, you must be invited to participate and I was lucky enough to receive an invitation.

In order to use this service, you must have an xrptipbot.com account. Using your Twitter, Discord or Reddit handle you can create your xrptipbot.com account. Once you have that set up, login to coil.com to set up your payment pointer and receive your meta tag for monetization. You will also need to grab the Coil chrome extension for your browser. Place meta tag in the Head section of your site and, bammmmm, your monetized. Anyone that is a Coil subscriber that visits your site, Coil will immediately start donating to your xrptipbot.com account. I love this new digital world we are living in, it's lonely being this early to the party though...... none of my friends understand me anymore, lmao!
