We as Christians should be able to forgive easily because it is a reflection of the behaviour of Christ.
We learn from this teaching that we should never respond with anger or bitterness but with forgiveness.
We give God enough reason to forgive us when we forgive others.
This is essential because we usually make mistakes and are always in need of God's mercy
Unforgiveness will only hurt us not even the offender.
When we forgive, we gain healing and inner peace.
It is really for our good.
