The Question Mark Tavern (?) is one of the first taverns in Belgrade. Above the tavern, there was the first Belgrade pharmacy and a glass cutting shop.
The tavern did not have a name for a long time, because it is located opposite the Cathedral and the owner of the tavern was ashamed to name the tavern any name, so he decided to leave the tavern without a name, that is, to write a question mark instead of the name of the tavern. Thus, even to this day, takafana is known under the name of the Question Mark.
The current owners are trying to maintain the spirit of old Belgrade, so in the tavern you don't have traditional heating, but a stove and a fireplace. You get the coffee on a tray in a small jezva and pour it into a fildjan (cup) that was used during the Turkish rule. The tables are covered with checkered tablecloths, and in the window you can see old items that were used a long time ago. To get to the tavern, you have to go through Belgrade's most famous street, Knez Mihailovo, and see many old crafts and products, as well as artists, painters, musicians... There are also sweets and a wonderful clown who entertains children.
