Ada Bojana

Hello dear friends,
In the previous post, I wrote about Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro and the city where my husband lived until the age of 11.
And, where did we get to in Pdgorica? Here is the reason.
We were at the sea, the first pit, out of season, without crowds, noise, grabbing around deckchairs, queues at the bar to help ourselves to drinks and ice cream.
This was a vacation, but a real vacation. For the body, for the soul, for all our senses.
We were at Ada Bojana. A place located all the way in the southeast of Montenegro. Ada Bojana, a river island where the Bojana River flows into the Adriatic Sea.

The sandy beach, surrounded on two sides by the Bojana River, and on the third by the Adriatic Sea, is a truly fascinating place. The sandy beach facing the sea is about 3 km long.
In 2017, I don't know how, Ada Bojana was put up for sale. I really don't know how it's done, how to sell a part of the country, he doesn't understand that either, but it is said that the Germans bought Ada Bojana.
But it doesn't matter.
I got up very early to walk through the water, because I have problems with my veins. nobody anywhere. Guys, that was divine. Sky, sea, sun and me. My husband, of course, doesn't go anywhere without a bicycle, so he rode a bicycle while I was walking.
He also stopped by the city of Bar, Ulcinj, right up to the border with Abania. One day we made the same trip, but we went by car.
The season is getting ready everywhere in coastal towns, so people are busy preparing for the onslaught of tourists that is expected from July 1.

What is interesting about Ad Bojana is that it has its own surfing center, because just knowing that it is surrounded by the river and the sea will make you think of waves and surfing.

In the town of Bar, which is also a port, we visited the old Bar. Narrow streets, shops on both sides and colorful everything on offer. We also saw a mini model of the city of Bar, which looked like a monument to me. An attractive detail for tourists.

Everything like this, when it's arranged and organized in my head, at this age, I like the off-season vacation more, just like we spent it.
On the way back to Belgrade, we stopped, as I said, in Podgorica and Zlatibor, where we spent the night in a beautiful hotel, which looks like a castle, and in an even better apartment. In the evening, we took a short walk around the area and overcome with emotions, intoxicated by the clean mountain air, we fell asleep like babies. The next day we arrived in noisy Belgrade.
