Most western people may not know what is happening in the eastern countries.
Because of different culture, language and media control etc.
Just to let other people know, in the east, many many things has proceeded much further than other countries.

Hong Kong is a finincial city, a well-developed city in the east asia.
Financial turnover and stock market are among the top of the world.
The most densely populated city in the world.
When something happen, it will spread like fire. Become more "manageable".
A small place with over 8 millions people.
