My latest obsession.

I have been in hibernation for winter.

Yes it is winter for some of us. We even had snow this year.

During my reclusive period I become somewhat infatuated with the world of folk art / primitive art / fabric doll sculpture.

I have a lot to learn, and perhaps it will prove to be my latest contribution to my previously disclosed mountain of half completed crafting, but for now it is my calling.
Or at least my distraction from grim realities.

This is my latest work in progress.

Don't judge the genre based on my efforts, I have much to learn. It passes the time at the very least.

I did put it aside today to attempt a drawing for @quillfire.

There is evidence of my attempt at drawing in the corner of this pic.

Also features a couple of other partly constructed beauties.

I have also been working on this chunky V stitch blanket for my daughter.

It was a birthday project, but like most of my projects, it didn't make the deadline.
She wasn't overly distressed by that 😆.

I have a stack of other gems I hope to share too.

A return to crafting has been my salvation.
