Hello, everyone! My name is Giovanni, I am 28 years old, and I live in a small, prosperous town in the interior of Minas Gerais (Brazil), a state equivalent to Pennsylvania (USA) in terms of tradition, agriculture, geography, and culture.
I really enjoy living in this city and currently have no plans to move. Today, I live with my partner and my cat, who are the loves of my life, and it is with them that I want to live the rest of my time on earth. I work in the field of education. In addition to being a humanities teacher for elementary and high school, I also work as an administrative technician (also in education) in the municipality neighboring mine. Throughout my life, I have had several hobbies, including jiu jitsu, soccer, rugby, music, drawing, etc.
Right now, my favorites are swimming and photography. It was precisely while thinking about my photos that I decided to create my profile. I really wanted to take photos, but there were many barriers, such as money, access to equipment, and references. That's when I bought my first camera, a Nikon d3200, with an 18x55mm kit lens. Later, I got a 35mm lens with a 1.8g aperture. The camera was the first step. Then I learned the basics of photography from friends and the internet, as well as how to use my equipment. From there, I started taking some photos, but always with great insecurity and embarrassment. However, in my research, I ended up learning about Vivian Maier's story through a documentary. Her story made me understand many things, and today she is my greatest reference. Street photography and rural landscapes are currently my focus, and I hope to share this with you. I am open to suggestions, criticism, and tips, as I am new to this subject. That's it!

Olá a todos! Meu nome é Giovanni, tenho 28 anos, moro em uma pequena e próspera cidade do interior de Minas Gerais(Brasil), estado equivalente ao estado Pennsylvania(EUA) em tradição, agricultura, geografia e cultura.
Eu gosto muito de viver nesta cidade e atualmente não penso em mudar.Hoje eu vivo com minha companheira e minha gatinha, que são os amores da minha vida, e é com elas que eu quero viver o resto do meu tempo na terra. Trabalho na área da educação. Além de ser professor de humanidades para o ensino fundamental e médio, também atuo como técnico administrativo(também na educação) no município vizinho ao meu. Ao longo da vida, eu já tive vários hobbies, entre eles: jiu jitsu, futebol, rugby, música, desenho e etc.
No presente momento, os meus preferidos são a natação e a fotografia. Foi justamente pensando nas minhas fotos que eu resolvi criar o meu perfil. A vontade de fotografar era grande, porém existiam muitas barreiras, dinheiro, acesso a material e referências, foi então que eu adquiri minha primeira câmera, uma Nikon d3200, com a lente do kit, uma 18x55mm, posteriormente, consegui uma 35mm com 1.8g de abertura. A câmera foi o primeiro passo, depois aprendi com amigos e a internet o básico da fotografia, além de aprender a mexer no meu equipamento. A partir daí, eu comecei a fazer algumas fotos, porém sempre com grande insegurança e vergonha, entretanto nas minhas pesquisas eu acabei conhecendo a história de Vivian Maier através de um documentário. A história dela me fez entender muitas coisas, e hoje ela é a minha maior referência. A fotografia de rua e paisagens do interior são atualmente o meu foco de trabalho e espero poder compartilhar isso com vocês. Estou aberto a sugestões, criticas e dicas, já que sou novato nesse assunto. É isso!!
