Is it Worth Investing?
How many times have you sat down at a game and played for hours and hours, burning through the maps and labyrinths, only to have the ending turn out to be a big flop? Was that rally worth my time or the $70 I dropped on the game? More often that not the answer is no? We spend our hard earned money and get nothing in return. Web3 gaming is changing all of that and Splinterlands is a prime example. Gamers now have the ability to own their assets, put them to work, and create strategies to earn tangible assets. Unfortunately when many people think of crypto and crypto gaming they think of quick returns and skyrocketing earnings. However, as is the case with investing, patience and strategy, as well as hold to an investment plan, are the keys to success. If you are new to Splinterlands or OG, it is crucial to understand that you never value your assests were they currently stand but value them on where you think they will go. I'm not going to buy a $100 stock and be happy collecting a $2 dividend as the stop has no potential for growth. Same is the case for Splinterlands. I'm not going to invest $100 in cards to earn .001 sps and be happy with no faith that the values will rise. Currently, the crypto space sits in a bear market and values of Splinterland assets sit around all time low. If the hallmark phrase of investing every rang louder and more true, "buy low and sell high," a bull market is the perfect time to cautiously start investing.
