Venting Frustrations
In this time of pandemic and economic crisis, we easily gets frustrated, perhaps because we can't do what we used to do, we are limited to travel, and so on.
Whenever I gets frustrated of something, I CRY. And I pray. I pray for a calm heart, for insight as to what to do. After I pour myself out in prayer, my feelings are lighter, and have a clearer perspective.
Often, I get frustrated when I have a high expectation on something, that's why whenever I gets excited on something, I reprimand myself.
I also tell my husband what made me frustrated. Just knowing that someone is listening often keeps my frustrations check. And most often than not, he gives sound advice, that helps to eliminate my frustrations away.
When what frustrates me are overwhelming demands, I ask help from others. It is also helpful for me not to procastinate.
"If you try to do everything, you may render yourself unable to do anything."
Yes, we may not be able to be free of frustrations now, but we are assured that everything bad—including frustration—will be gone, for God will ‘satisfy the desire of every living thing.’—Psalm 145:16.
