CITIZEN CALL TO ACTION
Ok guys, brief update after the 2018 NORML Conference & Lobby Day where I joined the dedicated voulenteers from Maryland NORML to lobby Congress in favor of the various cannabis bills that have been laying on their desks for entirely too long!
The 2 bills that will PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS are:
😚💨 S. 1689/HR 4815: The Marijuana Justice Act; Takes Marijuana of the controlled substances Act, expunges federal marijuana convictions and impliments mechanisms to END the racial disparity in marijuana convictions
😚💨 S. 3174: The Marijuana Freedom & Opportunity Act; Takes Marijuana of the Controlled Substances Act, Provides resources to facilitate expungement of local marijuana convictions and implements mechanisms to entrepreneurship and small businesses in the emerging marijuana industry.
Specifically the Representatives that need to be reminded by the public as to WHY these bills are so important to protect the medical marijuana patients in the Maryland Medical Cannabis Community from continued discrimination and removal of basic freedoms are Senator Ben Cardin and Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer
IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN MD... COntact your state representatives about these #federalbills that aim to protect your rights!
