Seeking Silence: Endless Ocean
Like a boat adrift at sea,
lingering on an endless horizon,
waves washing,
disappearing memory,
where does the sky meet the water?
the two surfaces becoming one,
And swallowed into yesterday.
Purpose,
balancing,
A small speck in the unforgivable vastness,
Alone,
where up and down are the same.
There was something I was suppose to do…
A reason.
Something to keep the boat at sea,
Afloat,
Searching for a port.
with no land in sight.
And keep going.
In dried ocean thought,
Sunbeams and still breeze.
Adrift in the Eternal Sea,
Lost in waves of the unknown.
