Linden - my phytotherapeutic experience

Good morning everyone, today I would like to share with you my personal experience in using linden as a phytotherapeutic remedy.

Description: deciduous tree.
Minimum cultivation temperature: -25 °C.
Balsamic period: June.
Toxicity: low, may cause gastrointestinal disorders.
Do not take Tilia platyphyllos supplements during pregnancy and breastfeeding, always consult a doctor before taking phytotherapeutic preparations based on this plant.
Beneficial properties: sedative and antispasmodic.
Confirmed activities: melliferous plant.
Active ingredients: essential oil, mucilage and tannins.
PREPARATIONS
Infusion: prepared with 3 g of dried flowers per 100 ml of water for the sedative function.
Officinal tincture: prepared with 10 g of dried flowers, chopped, macerated for 21 days in 100 ml of 62° hydroalcoholic solution. The filtrate can be preserved for 3 years, 30 drops per day for the beneficial functions.
Gemmoderivative: prepared with 12.5 g of fresh buds, macerated for 21 days in 100 ml of glyceric solution (50 ml of glycerol, 35 ml of 96° alcohol and 15 ml of water).
The filtrate can be preserved for 3 years, 60 drops per day for beneficial functions.
NOTES
The dried and powdered leaves give a flour rich in nitrogenous substances that can be mixed with barley flour

NOTE
Le foglie seccate e polverizzate danno una farina ricca di sostanze azotate che si può mescolare alla farina d'orzo
