We are living in a modern era and technology is leading all the fields. However, the update on FIAT is in the form of credit or debit cards. This is how you are able to spend your money and pay the real amount plus the service charges by the company. I am ok with service charges but I am not ok with receiving payment across the border. As this takes from days to weeks, which is not normal in a fast-paced world.

If your payment gets stuck due to any reason still it can take hours from minutes and not days or weeks.

I do remember receiving international payment in two weeks and where my bank had no reply where my payment is. Calling bank staff again n again asking for the status of the payment was too annoying. Though banks have updated the system and now it hardly takes 2-3 days to reach payment in your account. But still why to wait for 2-3 days when you can receive the payment in 2-3 minutes.

I am a great supporter of blockchain technology as a payment solution and swift approach. Satoshi Nakamoto's mission to avoid middleman is a revolutionary thought. This makes us a controller of the situation while saving money on the other hand. Banks should either adopt the blockchain technology for quick payment solution or should leave the way for better technology.
