Incentives Work Well

Ever notice when you care the most about something; you'll do what it takes to achieve it? I find that when I look back upon the years of my life the things that really caught my attention were the things that really paid off. Now when I say paid off I'm not talking just about money I'm talking about all of the good things in life. For instance, having a family. Being a shy person growing up I wasn't really accustomed to putting myself out there.

Had I never put myself out there I never would have met my wife gotten married had wonderful children, etc. I never would've had this wonderful family, period. Putting yourself out there is terrifying and when you do and get rejected it can absolutely be crushing. Please don't let that stop you be brave.

The reason why I ask is that I believe that a site owner is responsible to incentivize their site. It is very important to have a good amount of members but it is more important to have the members be very active. Activity will always be more important than quantity. Having 10,000 members does nobody any good if only 200 of those members are active.

Yes, it is true that a member that joined the site needs to join the site for more than just a monetary gain. Those members that are active on the site also need to be active for any other reason than they are receiving monetary gain directly from the site.

Sorry I don't mean for this to get confusing and I'm not trying to talk around in circles. To simplify this a person needs another reason to be active on your site other than you're paying them to be active on your site. Take my site for example my site is a source of traffic for many members. The active members are highly engaged in building their list or site membership.

This is where it gets confusing. I am a site owner so I have site members come to it they join and in this way, they have also subscribed to my list. A site owner that has a membership site and they're building their membership is the same as an affiliate marketer that is building their list.

Now, don't panic you do not need to hurry up and develop some type of membership site to start earning revenue. That is the purpose of my site. I am trying to provide people with a one-stop-shop. Now of course this is overly ambitious because such a site does not really exist. If such a site ever did exist it might be too big of a site and too confusing. Sorry I got lost in a little fantasy there.

I am sure in your adventure so far with affiliate or online marketing whatever you wanna call it you have run into that phrase the money is in the list and that phrase may have been like an irritating pesky little insect buzzing in your ear.
