Mamillaria cactis
Today, three Mamillaria cacti are blooming in my garden: La Vetula, La Prolífera, and one that I had never seen bloom before, Mamillaria Voburnensis.
On other occasions, they have bloomed very exuberantly, but this time the flowers are opening slowly. Despite all the changes they have undergone over the past year, they quickly got used to direct exposure to the sun.
Before, they received the sun under a sun protection mesh, and the flowers stayed open longer. Now they hardly open fully, so I water them more often and fertilize them more frequently.
The Mamillaria Voburnensis flower is very similar to the other two mentioned, but with a pink rash that runs through the petals from start to finish. The flower can be distinguished from those of the other Mammillarias.
I would like to find completely pink Mammillarias, but I haven't even found another pink plant in nurseries.
For now, these are the beauties of my garden. All the Mammillarias are blooming at the same time.
