Yearly House Blessings!
How many of you here are Catholic and believe that having a blessing in our home invites the Holy Spirit’s guidance to always be with us?
For us, it's a way of welcoming God into our home and asking for His protection and peace for our family in the coming year.
In this post, I want to share a little about my life when I am at home with my family. I always tell my parents that our house should be blessed every year. As we were about to welcome the new year of 2026, it felt like the perfect time, and we had so much food to share! We prepared food not just for ourselves, but to share with the priest and our loved ones who joined us in prayer—it's a big part of the celebration here in the Philippines!
Here we are, together as a family. I truly hope we can keep this tradition alive every year.
Do you and your family have a tradition like this to start the new year?
Here are the photos that I want to share with you. Enjoy, and thank you for always being with me as I share my life with my family.
