VALENCIA
Valencia is a very beautiful city in Spain. It is the third largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona. We arrived Valencia around 2.30 pm and hence the first thing we did was having our lunch. There are many eateries and many dishes to choose from.
Valencia is famous for an authentic dish called Paella which comes with meat filling or sea food filling. I chose Paella with sea food filling. I advice all those are visiting Spain to have Paella at least once.
It is a city of Arts and Science. You will find many scientific buildings like Planetorium and Universities.
We had only one night stay in Valencia and hence we could visit only few places of interest. We managed to visit the Town Square and the Queen Square. In the Queen Square you will get a view of the Cathedral and its tower the Micalet.
Valencia lies on a place where the river Turia meets Mediterranean sea. We stayed one night in Valencia and it was in a Hotel called Sercotel Sorolla Palace Hotel. It is indeed a beautiful hotel in a very tall building, distant view of which is given below.
