Oyster Traps

These last couple of weeks have been crazy busy and taken me away from posting/ engaging with people on Steemit. But i'm glad to be back now.

Over the past two weeks I was in Osaka shooting some Medical Robotics students and some lifestyle portraits. Then following that I was in Tokyo shooting at a capsule hotel (amongst other things). Today was my last shoot at a vineyard where they were getting ready for the upcoming season (This is a 12 month job, so expect lots of winery photos in the coming months).

In between all of that i got to take my Mavic out for a quick flight on my way back from Osaka. About 40 minutes east of where I live is the small village of Hinase, it's famous for oysters. Every year around the middle of February we have the oyster festival in Okayama, where thousands of people go to eat fresh oysters with the fishermen that caught them. I actually tried to shoot this shot on two separate occasions but each time the weather was grey and flat.

I did a little bit of playing around with the colour to try and give it a little something, and i replaced the sky with something a little less flat.

Anyway, i'm glad to be back and looking forward to sharing more photos soon.
