Your last harvest.

It hurts, it hurts to lose a noble being to whom you owe everything, from your life to everything you know. Here is his last harvest before he left. It hurts to say goodbye to the loved one who gave you everything in this life, but since the work must go on, here I show you what he left behind: the inheritance, the vestiges, and the mark of his work, where he left his life, the place he loved, the place where I saw him standing like an oak.

That place that little by little saw him slow down until watching him fade away. Our turn will come for all of us, but in the meantime we must leave this planet better than we found it.
That’s why, no matter all the pain you may have or experience, you must get up and keep going.

Keep standing and don’t let yourself be defeated and sink into the shadows, nor give up, no matter how much pain you’re going through.

Hang in there, friend, everything is going to be okay. Don’t think you’re the only one who has lost a loved one, a living being, or a material possession. As long as you’re alive, nothing can stop you. If your house fell and your things lie buried under the rubble, it doesn’t matter. You still have light to keep going in this world, and while there is life there is hope. All the goals and plans you thought were important in life are just that: pure vanity and falsehood, many times. And this is where you can see that there really is nothing more important than being alive. Covid taught us to be strong, but as always, it’s never enough for acts of such grave magnitude as the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, which have caused so much pain.

But tomorrow the light will shine again and everything will be as it was before. Of course, our angels will watch over us from heaven and we can start over.

I know it all looks easy from the outside, but it isn’t. I can only say how sorry I am.

Farewell forever to our loved ones.
May this post serve to send words of encouragement to our Venezuelan brothers who are really going through a hard time.
