Hive Goals Counting Down - Last Week!

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only some information, so if you want details, they can be found in the post.

On Saturdays, normally I publish my Splinterglossary updates, but given tomorrow is Christmas Day and I'll have a different schedule for most of the day, I decided to switch, and write my weekly Hive goals today and the Splinterglossary update tomorrow, and I'll keep the same schedule for next week. That will also allow me to publish my last Hive goals post on December 31st instead of the year after, on January 1st.

As you know if you read through my Hive goals posts, I only have one goal remaining: maxing out the Chaos Legion edition (and the associated reward cards).

Last week's plan was to let another 3k SPS unstaking unfold to help with this final target.

I decided throughout the week to change this plan. I stopped the unstaking and I used SPS from the SWAP.HIVE:SPS diesel pool instead.

Given we have a few days to the end of the year and I am going to use the so-released SWAP.HIVE to help with the first power-up from 2023, my thinking is that it's worth it. Especially considering SPS kept dropping in price lately, and that eroded the amount of SWAP.HIVE I had in the pool to impermanent loss.

Since today is Christmas Eve, I take this opportunity to wish you all Merry Christmas, before we plunge into the details, if you don't care for them.

Let's see what changed since last week.

HIVE Power (HP) Goal - Completed

My main goal of reaching 25k HP this year is COMPLETED.

This week my HP grew by 15 organically, but I keep most of the HIVE I received liquid.

Planning on powering up HIVE for the first HPUD of the New Year.

HBD Goal - Stopped

I stopped this goal during the year in favor of HIVE Power. Initially, the goal was to reach 5000 HBD in savings by the year-end, starting from almost nothing.

LEO Staked - Completed

My staked LEO goal is COMPLETED!

I stated in advance what my LEO staking goals for 2023 are. More ambitious than this year, but I continue to take a rather cautious approach, and adjust if necessary.

Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal - Completed

The SPS staking goal is COMPLETED!

However, the SPS rewards from ranked battles, daily focus and season chests come in a staked form and will keep increasing the stake. Same as the land and TD (nightmare packs) rewards.

Another 1399 staked SPS were added last week this way.

Besides what comes staked from the gameplay, the SPS goes to the diesel pools.

However, this week I'm using part of the SPS I have in the diesel pools to fund the finalization of the following goal.

Maxing Chaos Legion Set*

I took a huge step this week into completing this goal. Practically, I could have ended with it this week, but I decided to drag it for a few more days. Plus, it's quite time-consuming the way I did it, and in the future, I should try a different approach for such a goal.

I'm not going to list all the cards for which I purchased all the necessary BCX to max out, but I'm giving you a count: 12. I'm just waiting for the ones I have on the rental market to finish the leveling up process.

I also decided to limit Radiated Scorcher to level 7. Hardy Stonefish and Mycelic Morphoid will have the same limitation, but missing a few cards, and I still have time.

I also purchased the majority of missing BCX for the cards that don't have all BCX yet, but I left something for me to do for next week too. :)

Anyway, my intention is to have all cards COMBINED by the end of the year, so I expect the final pieces will be purchased during the next few days.

I'm still opening packs as I earn more alchemy and legendary potions. I haven't decided if I want to keep opening packs after I max out cards or not.

Social Targets

The initial (10k) goal for comments made was Completed.

Increased target: 10k->12k comments by the year-end.

The increased goal for comments made is considered MISSED.

The 10K target for replies is COMPLETED and I won't increase it.

The comment made goal will resume next year with a refreshed target.
