About the Project
Badgeyay is a badge generator that allows the user or event manager to create badges without any hassle. All you need to do is provide us with the images and the data that you want on the badges and Badgeyay will do the rest and generate thousands of badges for you within minute(s).
New Features
- What new feature(s) did you add?
I worked on addingmy-badgescomponent for the project badgeyay. Badgeyay is not just a badge generator anymore, It is being developed into a complete badge management suite for people. So an important feature to be implemented was to add a component that allows the user to check all his generated badges. - How did you implement it/them?
At first I worked on adding the route for getting badges generated by a particular user. Then I worked on adding the Ember JS frontend for the particular component. I used semantic UI to make the frontend in Ember JS. It communicates using the JSON API adapters with the Flask backend to get all the generated badges by a particular. Then we just diaplay them in separate cards.
