🖤💗 Caja decorada con Kuromi: reciclaje con estilo kawaii / Kuromi-themed box: kawaii recycling with style

Hola. Como ya les he contado, estoy en una secuencia de reciclaje donde estoy rescatando varias cajitas abandonadas que tenía por mi casa. Esta es una de ellas. Quise darle un estilo diferente a la anterior, así que esta vez la decoré con Kuromi, el personaje de Sanrio, para darle un toque más juvenil y kawaii. La cajita la tenía tirada, le corté la tapa y solo aproveché la base. Aquí les cuento cómo quedó.

Hello. As I've been telling you, I'm on a recycling sequence where I'm rescuing several abandoned little boxes I had around my house. This is one of them. I wanted to give it a different style from the previous one, so this time I decorated it with Kuromi, the Sanrio character, to give it a more youthful and kawaii touch. The little box was lying around, I cut off the lid and only used the base. Here's how it turned out.

Agarré una cajita tirada y abandonada que tenía por casa. Le corté la tapa de arriba y solo utilicé lo que sería su base. Mi objetivo era transformarla en un organizador bonito y funcional, con la estética kawaii de Kuromi.

The idea

I grabbed a discarded and abandoned little box I had at home. I cut off the top lid and only used what would be its base. My goal was to turn it into a nice and functional organizer, with Kuromi's kawaii aesthetic.

Step by step

1️⃣ La base y el forrado inicial

Corté la tapa de la cajita y me quedé solo con la base. Luego, con papel crepé negro y rosado, hice una decoración que parece un corte de piñata.(En la imagen lo van a poder observar con más detalle.)

The base and initial covering

I cut off the lid of the little box and kept only the base. Then, with black and pink crepe paper, I made a decoration that looks like a piñata cut. ^(You'll be able to see it in more detail in the image.)

2️⃣ Decoración con papel fucsia platinado

Con el papel fucsia platinado, decoré el resto de la caja para darle ese toque brillante y llamativo.

With the fuchsia platinum paper, I decorated the rest of the box to give it that shiny and eye-catching touch.

3️⃣ Detalles en foami para tapar imperfecciones

Con foami rosado escarchado, hice pequeños recortes de aproximadamente 2 cm y los coloqué por las orillas de la parte de arriba de la cajita. (Esto fue para tapar los defectos que tenía la cajita, donde se notaba un poco la pega.)

With pink glitter foam, I made small cutouts of approximately 2 cm and placed them along the edges of the top part of the box.(This was to cover the defects the box had, where the glue was a bit noticeable.)

4️⃣ Adornos adicionales

Hice estrellitas, un corazón y un circulito con foami y los pegué en la caja para darle más vida y personalidad.

Additional decorations

I made little stars, a heart and a little circle with foam and glued them to the box to give it more life and personality.

5️⃣ La figura de Kuromi

la creación de Kuromi. (Van a poder ir viendo imagen tras imagen cómo la fui realizando.)

• Base y carita: La hice con foami negro.
• Detalles rosados: Con el mismo foami rosado escarchado que usé para las orillas, hice los circulitos que van en la parte de abajo, en las puntas de la figura de Kuromi.
• La calavera: Hice la calaverita que va en la frente de Kuromi.
• Centro de la carita: Con foami blanco, le di forma al centro de la carita.
• Toque final: Agregué corazoncitos o culitos en foami escarchado blanco para darle más detalles.

Kuromi's figure

Now comes the fun part: creating Kuromi.(You'll be able to see image by image how I made her.)

• Base and face: I made it with black foam.
• Pink details: With the same pink glitter foam I used for the edges, I made the little circles that go on the bottom part, on the tips of Kuromi's figure.
• The skull: I made the little skull that goes on Kuromi's forehead.
• Center of the face: With white foam, I shaped the center of the face.
• Final touch: I added little hearts or little butts in white glitter foam to give it more details.

Me encanta cómo quedó y, lo mejor de todo, es que rescaté una cajita que estaba abandonada y le di una nueva vida con mucho estilo.

I love how it turned out and, best of all, I rescued a little box that was abandoned and gave it a new life with a lot of style.
