the colours of depression

The swirling mist that seems endless,
And reaching out in the dark,
To find only pain, grasping back,
And so your mind shall depart,
The colors of depression are limited,
In your mind and in your heart,
Recollection stabs you, grabs you,
Look you in the eye,
It's you in disguise,
Wearing a shawl of black mist, ash and tar,
She pulls me down, down, down.
Further away and far
Will anybody hear my screams, follow me?
The colors of depression are black and grey,
White and ash, much like a day,
With thunderstorms, rain,
Fogging up your brain,
The truth is these aren't colors,
They're light,away or near,
But its hard to see the light,
when you are shrouded in fear,
The colors of depression aren't colors at all,
as colorless as a single tear
