Central Highway
Since the hill in front of Helen Hayes is still covered in snow and I had no desire to climb it in my blue Chuck Taylors I decided to take the long way. Compared to the more direct root this adds on another half mile.
A good portion of that half mile involves Central Highway. I refer to it as the straightaway from hell because while running cross country and track in high school it seemed to go on forever.
