My second week as a Steemian: Thoughts and Observations
I discovered Steemit two weeks ago. I was trying to find an interesting Alt-Coin to invest in and well, I got more than I bargained for. Instead of doing a little trading and calling it a day, I ended up spending way more time simply browsing and blogging on Steemit than I care to admit. In the end, it turned out to be a good investment anyhow!
Over the past two weeks I've watched Steemit's content diversify greatly. At first, it mostly consisted of posts about cryptocurrency, how awesome steemit is, and #introduceyourself posts. Not a bad start of course, but it was obvious that more diverse content would need to find it's way to Steemit before it became stable. Lo and behold, before too long Steemit exploded. The past few days have been very interesting. Between the hack, the massive price bubble, and the uh... interesting make-up tips, it's been a wild ride. It's also been a chance for Steemit to demonstrate it's resilience as a platform and it looks promising!
I can't wait to see where we go next. Enjoy the ride and don't forget to buckle up!
