DHF Watch: every proposal, on the record
DHF Watch, the second tool from this project, puts the Decentralized Hive Fund on the record: every proposal, browsable and verifiable. It takes on things the community has asked for — a way to browse expired proposals, earlier warning before critical proposals expire, and an on-chain trail proposal owners can build for their work.
It's live at dhf-watch.freebeings.io, open source (MIT) at github.com/FreeBeings-io/dhf-watch.
What shipped
- Watchdog — every active proposal is monitored: expiry warnings at 30 and 7 days, funding-threshold crossings, daily-pay changes, and removals, published on a public status page and RSS/JSON feeds, global and per-proposal. Nothing lapses quietly.
- Archive — every proposal since the DHF began in 2019, including the 62 deleted from chain state, recovered from op history with their removal provenance: funded periods, every payout traced to its block, current vote standing, and renewal chains.
- Owner layer — proposal creators can anchor their existing update posts to their proposal, declare goals and milestones, and assert renewal links, all on-chain (
dhf-watchcustom_json ops, signed with Hive Keychain, creator-only). Every item links to the transaction that created it. - The observatory — the overview shows the fund in motion: the daily budget (1% of the treasury's HBD balance), actual payouts, and every proposal's position relative to the funding line.
The overview: funding horizon, proposal field, on-chain pulse, and the watchdog's attention rail.
The archive: all 387 proposals ever created, back to 2019, filterable by status.
What a proposal page can look like once its creator puts the roadmap on the record (example data).
What's next
The API and the on-chain op grammar are pre-release drafts until v1, so feedback from anyone consuming the feeds or signing owner ops can still shape them. Further out, we'd like owners to be able to attach updates and manage milestones without leaving hive.blog — we'll propose that to the core developers, and it's their call.
How to help
If you own a DHF proposal, sign in with Keychain and put your roadmap on the record: attach your latest update, declare your milestones. Then tell us what's confusing or missing.
