La argumentación (Parte I) / (Esp- Eng)
De manera cotidiana estamos argumentando, ya sea a favor o en contra de alguna postura, ya sea en videos, imágenes o gestos, pero al ser una práctica común no tomamos conciencia de su valía al momento de redactar un texto o dar un discurso, siendo necesario el aprenderlo de manera intencionada para mejorar en esta necesaria habilidad.
Significa entonces, que argumentar es una interacción desde el diálogo que en contextos definidos o específicos permite la construcción, aclaración o consolidación de ideas, puesto que al intercambiar perspectivas se alcanza un punto general de aceptación.
En tal sentido, para argumentar bien debemos considerar los elementos que la constituyen, desde una perspectiva general: el objeto que es el tema sobre el que se argumenta, la tesis considerada la idea fundamental en torno a la que se reflexiona, el cuerpo, entendido como el despliegue de las ideas que se pretenden demostrar y la conclusión que es el resumen de las ideas presentadas.
Por último, parafraseando a San Agustín de Hipona, a argumentar sea prende argumentando.
Argumentation (Part I)
On a daily basis we are arguing, either for or against some position, either in videos, images or gestures, but being a common practice we are not aware of its value when writing a text or giving a speech, being necessary to learn it intentionally to improve in this necessary skill.
It means then, that arguing is an interaction from the dialogue that in defined or specific contexts allows the construction, clarification or consolidation of ideas, since by exchanging perspectives a general point of acceptance is reached.
In this sense, to argue well we must consider the elements that constitute it, from a general perspective: the object which is the subject on which we argue, **the thesis **considered the fundamental idea around which we reflect, the body, understood as the deployment of the ideas that we intend to demonstrate and the conclusion which is the summary of the ideas presented.
Finally, paraphrasing St. Augustine of Hippo, to argue is learned by arguing.
