Battling Zenith Machines.
I searched the area and discovered a surviving Tenakth named Yiveka, alongside Marshal Ivvira. Suddenly, two Zenith Specters attacked us. I engaged the machines using acid arrows and valor surge, took them both down. After conversing with Ivvira and receiving my reward, I flew toward the Zenith base but hit an impassable shield barrier.
I was hoping to find the brother I had been searching for, but instead, I encountered a woman named Yiveka. She looked startled to see me and pleaded with me not to leave her if I was real.
I approached her to talk, and she immediately asked what Aloy was doing in this dangerous valley. Aloy explained that she working to clear the machines and secure the land. Everyone assumed Yiveka was dead, but she had managed to survive against all odds.
Moments later, Marshal Ivvira arrived on the scene, unwilling to miss a chance to hunt alongside the champion of the valley.
Before we could celebrate the reunion, the atmosphere shifted as two formidable Specters appeared in the sky and swooped down to attack. I knew I had to act fast to protect the survivors, so I drew my bow and engaged the machines head-on.
The Specters moved with incredible speed, hovering around and unleashing relentless energy fire at me. They seemed almost wary of my presence, yet their attack patterns were aggressive and deadly.
I stayed mobile, dodging their incoming blasts while aiming for their vital armor plates.
Realizing standard attacks were taking too long, I activated my valor surge to boost my damage output.
I switched to acid arrows, and targeted their weak spots to strip away their defenses. One of the Specters focused its fire exclusively on me, non-stop, that forced me to dive behind cover to regroup and manage my resources.
When my ammo ran low, I quickly crafted more arrows while keeping an eye on the machine's movements. Once I was fully rearmed, I stepped back into the fight and delivered a final volley of heavy shots and took down both threats.
With both Specters completely destroyed, the threat on the valley floor was finally neutralized. I walked over to where Ivvira was tending to Yiveka and the other injured Tenakth warriors, who had stood their ground despite their fear.
Ivvira thanked Aloy for intervening and mentioned that the injured warrior would survive, though she'd require proper medical attention. She asked if more machines were coming, but Aloy reassured her that the lures were disabled and no more would arrive.
Aloy advised them to avoid these specific machines in the future, explaining that they were linked to the Far Zeniths and behaved differently than standard wild machines.
Ivira pointed toward a glowing light off the shore and asked if it belonged to the Zeniths. Aloy confirmed that it was a massive protective shield designed to keep intruders out. Ivira acknowledged that the valley would be safe for a while, but she needed to inform the rest of the Tenakth clan to evacuate the surrounding territory.
With the mission officially completed, Ivvira handed me a Sky Strike Boltblaster as a reward for my assistance. Shortly after, I mounted my flying creature and set off toward the Zenith base to inspect the area myself.
As I approached the giant energy dome, I attempted to fly through it, but the game system warned me that I was leaving the playable area and forced me to turn back, confirming the base would remain entirely inaccessible, for now.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
