Soulmate on silent paws

When I look at her, I feel an ocean of calm, a sense that everything will be all right, trust running through me.
There is wisdom in those shining eyes that teaches me more than a myriad of words.
They’re with me in those silent moments in life, in happiness, and even in healing.
Magic to me – neutral, non-expectant, pure in their presence.

And I remember being in her company, and all the simple things that really do matter: presence, kindness, patience.
She reminds me that peace isn’t something to chase outside, but to rediscover within, moment by moment.
Every now and then, all it takes is a little purring and a soft look, and the universe sure feels much lighter for it.
