Sometimes it's the story, not the pixels: The Fox

First I would like to sincerely apologize for the quality of the images. I was unsure if I should just post them, or not. But once again, in the heat of the moment, I forgot to concern myself with the settings, as I tend to do far to often.😆🙈 But for me, I can say that the encounter I made here alone was far greater than a poor image.

I was wandering through the forest this afternoon. It's actually a rather bad time if you're looking to get animals on camera. But you can always find other subjects off the beaten track. The forest is full of them.

So I was walking along a very long forest path when I noticed something far away on the trail. Because of the sun and the shadows, I doubted it was something. But the closer I got, the clearer I could make out a silhouette. I took out my camera and zoomed in. Right to the end. That explains the rather poor quality. When you zoom out, so many details are lost. But what I saw was wonderful to me. Who's watching whom?! I liked that he was sitting there, watching. It wasn't long before he set off, and I... I was completely overwhelmed from that moment on. Now, after two years, 33 years later, having returned to my hometown and having had such experiences, I know I made a good decision regarding nature. I've had many experiences in those two years, and some of them are simply difficult for me to understand. I'm sure animals are very good at perceiving, perhaps, which people they should be afraid of, like hunters, and which they shouldn't.

Anyway... I took hundreds of other photos today that I have to sort through first. Once again, I apologize for the quality. I over-edited the photos to achieve a reasonably good result. But that won't be the norm.
