Help curing cancer with Laetrile

I am helping a friend who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. My research has brought me to using Laetrile, a B17 compound found in seeds and high in apricot seeds. Does anyone have any experience taking this and any success stories to share? I have no confidence in corporate health practitioners pushing pharmaceutical drugs that are sold to them and much prefer my friend avoids the surgeons knife healing naturally. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you x
