If you were to redesign the world, what would you change
If I were to redesign the world right now, I'd want it to be steady not flashy; even if it's flashy let the 'flashy' be steady.
Sometimes I sit and think about the woman I’ve become.
Life didn’t really ask me if I was ready — it just handed me responsibility. Motherhood. Work. Bills. Health scares. Sleepless nights. Decisions that can’t wait. I learned quickly that stability matters more than feelings in the moment. When my child is crying, when expenses are rising, when sales are dull, I don’t get to pause. I adjust. I find a way to figure it out. I still keep going.
I have become someone who processes quietly. I don’t panic loudly. I observe. I ask questions. I try to solve before I break down. The world has taught me not to depend too much on anyone. It has taught me to calculate, to stretch, to endure.
But somewhere in between breastfeeding schedules, hospital visits, cooking, working, and planning Sunday worship songs, I’ve realized something — I am not just tired. I am aware.
Aware that things should be easier. Aware that mothers should be supported, not stretched thin. Aware that effort should meet reward. Aware that rest shouldn’t feel like a luxury.
If I could redesign this world, I wouldn’t make it flashy. I’d make it steady.
Healthcare that doesn’t come with fear. Work that pays fairly and doesn’t drain your soul. Communities that actually show up. Children who grow without constant sickness worries. Homes where women don’t have to be strong every single day.

And for myself?
I would create space to rediscover who I am beyond responsibilities. A version of me that feels light. Not careless — just lighter. A world where I don’t just survive, but flourish.
Maybe that’s all I really want.
A world that allows people like me to breathe.
