Qc Community Contest #174
Hey Lovelies,
Welcome to this week's contest. I am participating, and here's my point of view.
Question
Wills - What are your thoughts on wills? Do you think they are necessary for everyone or only for some people? Who do you think should make a will? Do you already have a will or are you planning to create one?
Answer
Wills: A Quiet Responsibility We Owe Our Loved Ones
Wills are often seen as documents meant only for the rich or the elderly, but I see them as a simple act of responsibility. A will is not about expecting death, it is about planning life wisely and protecting the people we care about. It gives clear direction on how one’s property, savings, and personal belongings should be handled, and it helps prevent confusion, conflict, and pain among family members.
I believe wills are necessary for everyone, not just for some people. Anyone who owns something of value, no matter how small, should think about making a will.
This includes young adults, parents, business owners, and even those who think they have little to leave behind. A will is also important for people with dependents, because it allows them to decide who will care for their children and how their needs will be met. Without a will, these decisions are left to laws that may not reflect personal wishes.
Those who should make a will include married couples, single parents, entrepreneurs, and individuals supporting relatives. Even single people without children can benefit from a will, as it helps distribute assets properly and supports causes or people they care about. Making a will brings peace of mind, knowing that one’s efforts and hard work will not be wasted or cause disputes.
I do not currently have a will, but I plan to create one in the future. As life grows more complex, planning becomes more important. Creating a will feels like a mature step toward order, fairness, and respect for loved ones. It is a quiet promise that even in absence, clarity and care will remain.
This is my pov concerning wills, thanks for stopping by and have a nice day.
