Quintette pour instruments à vent
Claude-Paul Taffanel (1844 - 1908) was not only flutist, conductor and founder of the French Flute School. He also composed works for flute and Quintette pour instruments à vent (Woodwind Quintet).
The third movement is especially typically French, combining dancing melodies with soft wind sound.
