Primera comunión de mi prima/My cousin's first communion.

Saludos para toda esta hermosa comunidad, después de un tiempo me encuentro nuevamente publicando en este maravilloso espacio para compartir un momento especial con todos ustedes.

Greetings to all this beautiful community, after a while I find myself again posting in this wonderful space to share a special moment with all of you.

On the 10th of June this year my cousin Doriangel made one of the most important ceremonies for every little girl, her first communion.

This was a very emotional moment, as several family members and friends who share our beliefs gathered to accompany her in this significant act.

The previous preparation was done through a catechesis training, where they are taught the meaning of receiving this sacrament and the rules of the church and in which the catechist gives them to choose one of the dresses that were donated to the church to be used, reducing a little the expenses that the parents will have to acquire them as an important element for the first communion, my cousin's parents only took care of the flowers for her hairstyle, stockings, shoes and the candle that the girl would carry in her hand to be lit by the Paschal Candle, receiving there the light of Christ that represents the guide that will illuminate them in their steps towards eternal life, assuming the commitment to be them too, a light in the world.

It should be noted that during the ceremony one of the mothers approached the girl and took a photograph of her, in which she whispered that she felt very emotional, as she had worn the same dress on the day of her first communion and that it brought back very beautiful memories, while thanking her for having chosen the same dress, which she had donated to the church.

During the ceremony the girl was selected to perform different readings such as the responsorial psalm, messages and the delivery of details to the catechists. This stage is very important to accompany and guide them for their first encounter with God, as it represents a very profound moment in their lives.
