Kids Marching Band Snow Stomp!!

Today I gathered some kids and random instruments and we went for a road march around our neighborhood. We played our music loud and chanted "no more jackets no more boots no more snowflakes dirty looks".

See winter likes things nice and quiet so it dumps a ton of snow everywhere to silence the noise. Summer likes it noisy so it melts away the snow and brings back the birds and other wildlife.

Sometimes in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan the sun needs a little help. So we bring out our noisy instruments and stomping boots and chase winter away...
