Code on Hive Hackathon at NIIT University, Neemrana
What can happen when you combine Creativity, Curiosity, and Cutting-edge technology under one roof?
This month, our team had the privilege of visiting NIIT University in Neemrana as a representative of Hive which brought together brilliant young minds eager to innovate and make an impact.
Code on Hive wasn’t just a competition but a dynamic space where students could immerse themselves in blockchain technology and explore real-world applications on Hive.

In our session with the students and faculty, I highlighted Hive’s unique ecosystem and its role in decentralizing the Internet. As I spoke about Hive’s applications and how it’s empowering individuals and communities worldwide, I saw the spark in their eyes.
For many, it was their first time realizing how they could consume blockchain technology and actively create on it. The students posed sharp, thoughtful questions, hungry to understand the inner workings of blockchain and dapps. By the end, it was clear that they weren’t just listening but were already thinking about what they could build.
The Code on Hive hackathon’s main event was nothing short of exhilarating. As a judge, I saw first-hand how these students, armed with knowledge and creativity, brought a diverse array of projects to life. From decentralized games to blockchain-based community solutions, all teams came up with something unique and interesting.
Each project left me inspired and, at times, even surprised by the scope of their ideas. I offered feedback to help them refine their concepts, knowing these projects would soon go live on Hive’s platform, where their impact could be truly felt.
Code on Hive Hackathon was more than just a hackathon, it was a window into the future of Hive. Their projects will be deployed on Hive and it will stand as a testament to what can happen when Hive community supports such initiatives in India.
My heartfelt gratitude to and the community members supporting its DHF proposal. Looking forward to how these projects grow on Hive.
