고기

멸치와 고추장
자유로이 바다를 헤엄치던 멸치가 어부의 그물에 잡혀서 마른 멸치가 되어 나의 식탁 위에 반찬이 되어 기다리고 있다. 나는 물고기의 시체를 아무 느낌없이 입 속에 집어넣는다. 아무맛이 느껴지지 않는다. 멸치의 내장과 뼈를 발라내고 살코기에 붉은 고추장을 찍어 입 속에 넣는다. 고기맛은 나지않고 고추장맛만 난다.
고기를 거의 먹지 않으니 고기맛을 잃어버렸다.
고기를 먹는 것보다 고기를 먹지 않는 것이 더 어렵다.
