I saw this movie on the recommendation of many people, including my friends and especially my girlfriend, I gave it a chance and the truth was that it was quite a pleasant surprise (for a reason it was one of the highest grossing movies in Japan until this year) and would like to share my experience with you.

Makoto Shinkai is better at designing and expressing the emotions and gestures of young characters than anyone else, in both comedy and drama. This film is a must-see, two teenagers in totally different situations periodically inhabiting each other's body and life. It is an incredibly fun movie but also quite tense, Your Name is a very good dream and romance movie, with excellent animation quality and a spectacular soundtrack.
