Struggles and descisions

Just needed a place to air my thoughts and figured hive was the place.

I have been absent a long time and did not make the time to write any posts or keep up with the hive community.

But it might be time to check in now and again. The price hike is nice but the fact that there is a community out there that might be willing to listen to my stuff is nicer.

We moved to Switzerland in 2016 for work and kinda got used to the life here. No longer working in my original job but still in the same area in central Switzerland. I transitioned from a Product Manager job to Online Marketing Sales. But in the last few years the company i work for has changed. Less focus on customer happyness and more on how they can milk more money. The commissions have gone down and so has the reputation. So all in all the sales have gotten harder and harder. In the mean time I have built a nice side hustle as a Webdesigner (mostly Wordpress) and SEO Expert.

3 years ago we also got amazingly lucky and had a true gift of light, our daughter after a long wait and lots of issues.

Now I am sustaining our family alone which is just managable and my wife is getting started as a coach (now finishing her training) but she still has to set up the whole business and build up her reputation which takes some time.

We have a nice crypto nest egg which is growing every day but is not enough to live off but could help us through a dark time if there was one.

The point is that I want to quit my full time (80%) job and focus on making my side hustle (20%) my main hustle. Now i am making 50% of our income with 20% side hustle

I feel i cannot do this since i am reliant on the main income to keep our daily life afloat and I do not want to dig into the nest egg since we are in a bull market.

I keep grinding and building the hustle and building monthly recurring revenue. its just not fast enough....
