My First Earning As A Teenager
Greetings everyone, Happy New from my end, been a while here. Been busy tho!.
So today, i will be sharing with you my experience as a young girl, when i decided to work after school. Here's my story👇..
Graduating from high institution at a very young age, i had plans to get some certain things done before entering into the university or college. I had thought of learning a handwork but my mom suggested i had work experience. I looked for work with just my waec certificate and it wasn't really that easy to get a classy Job with that certificate.
Inorder for me to just have that work experience, i took in the job offer i got from a friend of mine, whom i told about the search for a work. It was a nice place, where phones and phone accessories were sold, they also had acess to register SIM cards, Enroll and validate NIN, Do POS(Point Of Service) and so many other stuffs to do with the system.
Of a true, i was lucky having that job because i learnt a lot that hasn't gone out of my memory today. In The very first week, i had a one on one discussion with my Boss (Male) , telling me how he runs his shop and the salary he would be paying me, the time i would be coming and my closing time. Everything was okay aside from the fact that he sometimes closes early.
Oh yes! I wasn't in this alone, i had my colleague working, whom i worked along with. My Boss literally chose me over her because in everything, i was willing to learn and adapt fast but she was aleeady getting tired of the Job. But she was a nice person.
Fast forward to when i got my first pay, whoa! I was crazy because i thought that the feeding money amd the transport money will be deducted from my salary. I was paid #15,000 naira and as a teenage and back in those days, the monwy really accounts to use in settling a lot of bills and buy lots of things.
I was really excited as he made me a transfer of the 15,000 naira and still gave me money for transportation to go that day. My boss has a compassionate heart and truly undersrsnds that "efforts needs pay".
This is how i got my first earning and afterwards, i worked in two other places before learning a handwork.
