Lessons from the Live MCGI Cares held on the 20th March 2024 via zoom

I joined the the Live MCGI Cares via zoom and I learnt a lot from the program anchored by bro Daniel.

In this video, I shared some of the lessons I learned from the program. Watch and be blessed.

Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

• For our lives to have light, we need to obey our Lord Jesus Christ. John 8:12
• There are children of God and there are children of evil.
• If what you are doing is what the devil want you to do, you will be the child of the devil. John 8:44
• There is righteousness we are suppose to do so that we will be called children of God. 1 John 3:10
• The righteousness we are going to do is not our righteousness but the righteousness of God.
• Our guideline should be the righteousness of God.
• We should not think too highly than we should think. Romans 12:3
• We should submit our mind to the mind God. 1 Corinthians 2:16
• The mind we must possess is the mind of Jesus Christ.
• For us not to be wise in our own eyes, we must must acknowledge God. Proverb 3:5-7
• If we don't want to be foolish, we must understand the will of God and his righteousness. Ephesians 5:17
• Santification has something to do with obeying his Commandments. For us to be satisfied, we have to obey the law.
• We should know that God is not the author of confusion but of peace. So he did not want us to be chaotic.
• The devil is the one always injecting chaos.
• We have to love one another. We should do good to all and not do evil.

My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting

During the teaching I got to know that we should not be thinking too highly of ourselves as we normally do because we think we are smart, intelligent and knowledgeable but the teaching has made me know that we need to submit our mind to God.

Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

Today's study has helped me to be better person as a video was shown of a man on the wheelchair who needed help and I saw different people stopping by to help him. This taught me to be a good person by helping others in need
