Barebow Rebellion (Original Mix) - Automated Acoustics

Hello Hive music!
Here is the original mix of my trailer-music track "Barebow Rebellion".

It starts off with a meditative intro then builds up the pressure.

I put a tonne of work into it, with live violin, double bass, cello, 2 x vocalists, a custom-made water instrument doing the celeste sound, real gongs, synthesis and I also re-used some drum recordings I did by taking a drum kit into a church.

No effort spared to get the sound is my ethos, and I enjoy the creative process surrounding it all anyway. It makes me feel more connected to my music and makes it a real blood, sweat and tears thing (literally for all 3 at times haha).

I posted 2 of the remixes over the last week - an ambient one & a techno one. Feels great to liberate the original as I put so much work into a little 30 second section.,

Here is a shot from the church drum recording. I'll do a full post about that another time (pic taken before I set the mics up).

This track is taken from "Built From Memories" released in Feb 2021, my first release for 10 years! Time flies. A collection of trailer music with remixes.

The old stuff goes from wonky blues, through to IDM electronica, to grinding industrial jazz. All a bit weird, but I hope some beauty in there too.
