Barebow Rebellion (Ambient Mix) - Automated Acoustics

Hi, this is an ambient remix of a trailer music track I wrote. I'm going to post the original, and a techno remix over the next few days, but since it's Monday night thought I'd post this double-mellow ambient version to chill after work.

It has real gongs, my auto-harp played with a home-made electromagnetic resonator and the live vocal talents of an old opera singer.

I was honoured to have this track played by Robin The Fog on his radio show in February 2021.

I generally write trailer music, which is fairly formulaic in structure - a gentle beginning, ramp up in the middle with a hectic end (but a million flavours of each part is possible of course). So I put as much effort into a 30 second section as goes in to some whole tracks, which can feel a bit restrictive. So I felt it would be good to repurpose them into remixes (also people are more likely to listen to something that sticks to 1 mood).

It's on Alternative Blueprint records ALTBLUE014. The release is called "Built From Memories" as it is filled with my own found-sound recordings from many different part of my life = memories.
