Daily Freewrite Prompt: Swell

The dog was in the mood of playing, as it usually does, she ran to the gate of the compound, and bring the ball, nobody was playing with it, rather it was the dog that starts and was playing with the ball.

The people in the lodge was watching, because in that sunny afternoon, the activity was exciting the residents, and while the dog was still entertaining the people.

A man that stays in the lodge came back, and just before he opened the gate, the dog was running playfully to get the ball towards at the gate side, and at that moment, the man was driving in with his family.

He hit the dog with the car, it was not a too much injured, but the next day the injury swelled up, and the dog was taken for treatment.

It was less than two days, and the swelling subsided, because it was not a big injury, people that reside in the lodge thought because of what happened, the dog was not going to do a game in the lodge space again, but it still does, and on the second time she do her game, it was still full of excitement.

The injury was not there anymore, and no matter how you look at the dog, you can not see that it leg’s was swell.
